Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Angry Al (ranked 3870 p4p, 3859 weight class) and Ishii Kenji (ranked 408 p4p, 407 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Angry Al! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ishii Kenji! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenji takes the fight into the clinch. Al manages to pull guard.
Kenji postures up.
Al can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kenji controls the pace. Kenji wants to control from the top but Al keeps moving. Al throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kenji escapes and throws Al's legs to the side, diving into side control! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Al struggling a bit here. Kenji is looking to take a break and control but Al is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kenji working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Al tries to improve position but can't. Kenji wants to lay and pray for a moment but Al keeps working. Al parries the strikes from Kenji easily there. Kenji is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Al to escape.
Al is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Kenji is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Al knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kenji just content to control the position. Al bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Kenji closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kenji tries to pull guard but Al holds him up against the cage and eventually Kenji drops back down to his feet.
Al tries to score a body lock takedown but Kenji shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ishii Kenji. I think Kenji has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
