The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osmond connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Osmond shoots and misses
and Samuel cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Joel Osmond has been cut.
Samuel drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Osmond is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Samuel.
Samuel catches Osmond with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Osmond looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Samuel!
Osmond postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Samuel is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Osmond's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Samuel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Samuel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Osmond working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Osmond keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Samuel throws a right hand that Osmond ducks under and follows up with a left that Osmond also avoids with ease.
Osmond is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Samuel lands a left and a right that send Osmond crashing to the mat, dazed. Samuel thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

BAM! Samuel delivers a spinning backfist that drops Osmond like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
