Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phillip Coles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jameel Johnson! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Coles scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Coles throws a poor cross that misses
and Johnson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Phillip Coles has been cut. Coles throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Johnson was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Johnson. Johnson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Coles. Coles scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Coles doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Phillip Coles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. That's two minutes gone in the round. A jab from Coles does it's job there. Coles with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Johnson to score with a decent uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Johnson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Coles doesn't seem bothered though. A combination from Coles does no damage. Johnson replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Coles blocks it well. Good exchange - Coles coming out on top. Coles just misses with a punch to the body.

Johnson digs a good hook to Coles's body.

Coles throws a big counter combination but Johnson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Coles stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Coles lands with an uppercut that bounces Johnson off the cage and back into range. Johnson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Coles.
