Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucaerys Strong (ranked 2215 p4p, 2295 weight class) and Cactus Jack (ranked 253 p4p, 268 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucaerys Strong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Cactus Jack!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Jack throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Strong counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Strong.
Strong is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jack is defending well for now.
Jack goes for a takedown attempt but Strong pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jack fails to land the takedown.
We've been told by Strong's head coaches at Ragnarok\'s Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Nice shot lands for Jack.
A leg kick checked by Jack.
Jack closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jack lands in his opponent's guard.
Strong looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Jack is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Strong is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Strong knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jack on the ground.
Jack stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Strong swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Strong is trying to keep Jack in close.
Strong pulls Jack in close to prevent any damage.
Jack slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Jack is in close to Strong's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Jack working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Strong's head.
Jack is looking to advance position but Strong has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Jack tries to hold on but Strong pushes him away.
Jack throws a strike but has given up his back in the process.
Strong is looking to control Jack but Jack is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Jack rolls, trying to escape but Strong keeps control of the position.
Strong tries to get the hooks in deep but Jack pushed the leg off.
Strong is hanging on to Jack's back as he tries to escape.

Strong struggling to keep hold of the position.
Jack wants to get back to his feet.
Jack tries to roll but Strong sticks to his back.
Strong is trying to stick to Jack's back but Jack is turning into Strong. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Strong's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jack.
Strong working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jack.
Jack stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Strong swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jack won't allow Strong to sweep him here.
Jack passes Strong's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Jack looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Jack trying to pass the guard but Strong defending well.
Jack is looking for a kimura but Strong is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jack to get the leverage.
Jack working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Strong wants to get back to full guard.
Strong blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jack.
Jack wants to control but Strong is keeping him busy.
Jack is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Strong is just riding it out for now. Jack eventually gives up the hold.

Jack is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jack tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Jack lands strikes from half guard.
Jack prevents Strong from improving his position.
Jack throwing shots but Strong is blocking nicely.
Strong is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jack scores with a couple of nice shots.
Jack is keen to just control but Strong is a slippery customer.

Jack is trying to work for a kimura but Strong is defending well.
Jack is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Strong is just riding it out for now. Jack eventually gives up the hold.

Jack frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Strong tries to hold on but Jack pushes him away.

Jack breaks from Strong's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Strong in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Strong is bucking up trying to escape but Jack cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
It looks like Lucaerys Strong has been cut.
Jack is landing with some decent strikes but Strong is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Strong is rocked!
Lucaerys Strong's cut is getting worse.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Jack! Strong is hurt baaadly! Jack is firing away with more strikes - Strong is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 7:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cactus Jack!
