The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King moves out of range of the strikes.
Gueta throws a hook but King avoids it easily.
Gueta throws a hook but King blocks it.
Gueta pulls out of a head kick attempt.
King tries to counter with a clinch but Gueta shakes him off and moves away.
King tries a head kick but it misses.

and King decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gueta's guard.
King slips nicely into half guard.
King has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

King is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Gueta throws a sloppy head kick and King moves out of range easily.
Sasson Gueta is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gueta misses with a right hand

and King counters with a shoot takedown. Gueta fights it but they end up in guard.

King drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gueta looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gueta looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gueta!

King gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Gueta tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
King is trying is best to control the position here.

King manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Gueta is trying to escape back to his feet but King uses the scramble to pass into side control.
