Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Merab Skibo (ranked 3918 p4p, 4086 weight class) and Julien Dupont (ranked 321 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Julien Dupont!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupont gets tackled into the cage by Skibo. Skibo maintains the clinch.

Dupont is fighting off a takedown attempt but Skibo is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dupont to the mat. Dupont regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dupont is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Skibo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Dupont gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Skibo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Dupont lets go of the hold and Skibo can pop his arm back in it's socket.
