The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bridges scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kasun doesn't seem bothered though.
Bridges throws a body shot but no joy.
Kasun moves to clinch but Bridges breaks away
and Bridges counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Khalil Kasun has been cut.
Kasun throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Bridges counter with a right hand.
Bridges connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kasun shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bridges as he avoids it easily.
Kasun gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Bridges lands a left and a right that send Kasun crashing to the mat, dazed. Bridges thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Bridges counters with a big right hand! Oh Kasun is in trouble here! Bridges follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
