Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between HK Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Nogueria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wong misses with a wild combination.
No joy there for Wong, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wong could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Wong fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nogueria tries to clinch up. Wong is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Wong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nogueria but Nogueria pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wong tries to clinch but fails miserably and Nogueria counters with a leg kick. Wong throws a head kick but Nogueria moves out of range.

Nogueria scores with a takedown into Wong's guard. Nogueria drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wong dives on top into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wong wants to control from the top but Nogueria keeps moving. Wong preventing the sweep. Wong trying to control the position from guard on top but Nogueria is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wong stops Nogueria from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nogueria striking from the bottom.
Wong would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Wong is breathing heavily. Nogueria managing to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Wong stopping the sweep attempt from Nogueria. Nogueria is looking to sweep but instead, Wong has passed into half guard.
Nogueria is pressing down on Wong's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Wong stopping the sweep attempt from Nogueria. Nogueria controlling Wong's posture. Wong wants to control from the top but Nogueria keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wong has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nogueria is proving hard to escape from. Wong avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wong tries to stand but Nogueria is controlling from the bottom. Nogueria controlling the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wong accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Nogueria has a closed guard, preventing Wong from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Wong throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nogueria works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Wong stands up from guard. Let's bang! Wong will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for HK Wong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nogueria has his takedown stuffed and Wong counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Wong throws a combination that misses and Nogueria counters with a nice double leg into guard. Nogueria trying to control but Wong is working from the bottom. Wong being controlled here, momentarily. Nogueria gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wanderlei Nogueria dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nogueria darts in and clinches Wong up against the cage. Nogueria is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
The crowd are getting on Nogueria's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Wong wants to get back to striking at distance but Nogueria won't allow it.

Nogueria scoring with some ground and pound. Nogueria stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wong swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nogueria trying to control the position from guard on top but Wong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nogueria seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Wong has a closed guard, preventing Nogueria from standing up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nogueria postures up.
Nogueria trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wong is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Nogueria dives into side control.
Nogueria cracks Wong with a big elbow. Nogueria cracks Wong with a big elbow. Nogueria has hold of Wong's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Wong tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Nogueria cranks the arm and Wong screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Wong, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
