Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Justin McGreegan (ranked 2649 p4p, 2311 weight class) and Benny Darius (ranked 250 p4p, 219 weight class). McGreegan comes to the cage accompanied by Blow At High Dough - Tragically Hip. Darius comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In the Shadows - The Rasmus kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justin McGreegan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Benny Darius!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, David Schapiro and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGreegan takes a kick to the side of the head.
McGreegan slips under a jab.
Darius displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McGreegan throws out the jab.
McGreegan scores with a kick to the body.
A chopping leg kick lands by McGreegan.
Darius gets cracked with a nice right hand there by McGreegan.
Darius throws a good cross that connects.
Darius throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Benny Darius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGreegan lands a high kick!
McGreegan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Darius moves out of range of the body kick from McGreegan.
Darius thows a left - swing and a miss!
McGreegan throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
McGreegan throws a quick inside leg kick.
McGreegan scores with a crisp jab that stopped Darius in his tracks.
Darius uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McGreegan.
McGreegan misses with a looping left.
The fighters circle momentarily. Darius darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Darius has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Darius scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
McGreegan is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
McGreegan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Oh McGreegan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Darius lands a really nice looking cross but McGreegan seems unphased.
Darius drops McGreegan with a straight right hand, right on the button! Darius follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Benny Darius!
After winning the bout, Benny Darius thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
