Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matvey Buryckin (ranked 2326 p4p, 3021 weight class) and Ricardo Cruz (ranked 304 p4p, 364 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matvey Buryckin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricardo Cruz! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Topper Green and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buryckin misses with a takedown attempt - Cruz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Buryckin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cruz's guard. Cruz lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cruz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Cruz postures up in Buryckin's guard and throws a big left but Buryckin blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cruz is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Buryckin can't fight it off and eventually Cruz manages to take the fight to the floor.
