The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson darts in looking for a takedown but Lucarelli gets double underhooks and turns Robertson into the cage.
Lucarelli steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Lucarelli gets underhooks to prevent Robertson's takedown attempt.
Robertson is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Lucarelli trying to stall but Robertson improves his position.
Robertson jumps guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lucarelli trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lucarelli is still trying to improve position.
Lucarelli content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Robertson has locked up a guillotine! Robertson's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Lucarelli is holding on here and Robertson must be using up a lot of energy. Lucarelli has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Robertson gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
