Edmonds has chosen Frankie Smith - Double Dutch Bus as his entrance music. Dean Howard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 44 - 39 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Edmonds!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edmonds misses with a two punch combination.
Edmonds throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Howard.
Howard shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Edmonds is looking for a triangle but Howard pushes his legs off easily.

Howard stands and throws Edmonds's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Howard goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Edmonds turns into him and now he's in Howard's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Howard is on top in guard.

A big strike lands for Howard! That's really hurt Edmonds and he's turned his back - Howard keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Howard jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
