Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joao Miyao (ranked 4776 p4p, 4172 weight class) and Pekka Haalvisto (ranked 387 p4p, 364 weight class). Haalvisto is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fintelligens - Stockholm-Helsinki. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joao Miyao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pekka Haalvisto!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyao swats away the attempt to clinch by Haalvisto.
Miyao shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Miyao was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Miyao wants to lay and pray for a moment but Haalvisto keeps working.
Miyao swings around for an armbar but Haalvisto sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Miyao's guard.
Haalvisto won't allow Miyao to sweep him here.
Miyao seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Haalvisto is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Miyao has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Haalvisto is looking to defend but Miyao has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Haalvisto! Miyao pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Haalvisto taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Joao Miyao!
After winning the bout, Joao Miyao thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Pekka Haalvisto spoke after the fight, saying 'f$$$$$$ck!!!!!'.
