Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tenzin Tsering (ranked 1400 p4p, 3613 weight class) and Ekon Ogunkoya (ranked 102 p4p, 189 weight class). Tsering comes to the ring accompanied by Мен – тыва мен. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Tenzin Tsering! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ekon Ogunkoya! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsering throws a hook but Ogunkoya avoids it easily. Tsering throws a looping overhand right but Ogunkoya ducks down to avoid it. Ogunkoya slips a jab from Tsering. Ogunkoya slips a jab and a cross from Tsering.
Ogunkoya steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Tsering. Tsering lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ogunkoya circles away quickly and effectively. Tsering sets himself, and Ogunkoya steps forward looking for the clinch! Tsering avoids it this time. Tsering tries to bum rush Ogunkoya with a series of wild strikes but Ogunkoya uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ogunkoya on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Tsering keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

and Ogunkoya counters by clinching up. Ogunkoya blocking some punches.
Tsering lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Tsering manages to break the clinch.
Ogunkoya slips a straight right by Tsering. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ogunkoya moves away from the strike by Tsering. Tsering misses with the combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsering looks to land a right hand but Ogunkoya moved out of range. Tsering pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ogunkoya back to the ropes. Tsering follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Ogunkoya moves out of range of the strikes. Tsering lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. A jab from Tsering finds it's way through Ogunkoya's defenses. Tsering scores with a three punch combo!
Ogunkoya is rocked! Tenzin Tsering seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tsering feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Ogunkoya crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tenzin Tsering! Tenzin Tsering retains his super heavyweight title!
