Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lysander Birdwhistle (ranked 1853 p4p, 2316 weight class) and Jacek Siuta (ranked 256 p4p, 304 weight class). Birdwhistle's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Black Vultures - Halestorm. Siuta has chosen "The Ecstasy of Gold" Ennio Morricone as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jacek Siuta has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Birdwhistle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Siuta moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Birdwhistle throws a jab but it's blocked by Siuta.
Birdwhistle swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Birdwhistle looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Birdwhistle tries for a takedown but Siuta circles away easily
enabling Siuta to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Lysander Birdwhistle has been cut.

Siuta has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

A little jabbing left from Siuta on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Birdwhistle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Siuta as he jumps to the side.

Birdwhistle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Siuta as he avoids it easily.
A nice side step and Siuta releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Birdwhistle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Siuta pinned against the cage. Siuta gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Birdwhistle takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Birdwhistle scores with a crisp jab that stopped Siuta in his tracks.
Siuta's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Birdwhistle connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Siuta scrambles back to his feet.

and Siuta counters with a crisp right that sends Birdwhistle to the canvas! Siuta follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

An out of breath Jacek Siuta thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Lysander Birdwhistle was interviewed post fight and said 'I'm trying to quit all my bad habits, so I hope this defeat is not the start of a new one.'.
