Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Addy Edison (ranked 2652 p4p, 497 weight class) and Vincent Van Elburg (ranked 260 p4p, 50 weight class). Edison comes to the cage accompanied by Entry of the gladiators. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vincent Van Elburg!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Elburg misses with a straight left.
Edison has his takedown stuffed
and Van Elburg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Edison loads up on a big right hand but Van Elburg slips the punch.
A nice inside leg kick there by Van Elburg. That's going to slow Edison down.
Van Elburg is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Van Elburg misses with a low kick as Edison jumps back.
Edison attempts a counter takedown but Van Elburg avoids it well and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edison chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Van Elburg can pounce on him.
Edison's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Van Elburg connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Edison scrambles back to his feet.
Van Elburg throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Van Elburg connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Edison momentarily.
Edison looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Edison swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Edison is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Van Elburg.
Van Elburg has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Edison tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Van Elburg manages to circle out of the way.

Van Elburg walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Edison checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Edison is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Van Elburg has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

and Van Elburg counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
A combination from Edison does no damage.
Van Elburg appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Edison feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Edison working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Van Elburg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Van Elburg manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Edison is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Van Elburg has his hands clasped together but Edison extends and breaks Van Elburg's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Edison.
