Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Porter Terrell (ranked 3085 p4p, 5199 weight class) and Ted Forrest (ranked 410 p4p, 553 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Porter Terrell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ted Forrest!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forrest throws a jab but it's blocked by Terrell.
A quick step to the side and Terrell tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Forrest misses with a right hand
letting Terrell counter with a right hand.
Forrest has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Forrest lands a jab.
Forrest lands a body shot.
Terrell avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Terrell went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Nice shot lands for Forrest.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looked like Terrell wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

It looks like Ted Forrest has been cut.
Terrell tries to move into range but Forrest moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Terrell displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Forrest throws out the jab.
Terrell definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Forrest dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Forrest might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Forrest punishes Terrell's body with a nice straight punch.

Forrest clobbers Terrell with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Terrell counters with a nice body shot.

It looked like Terrell was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

and Terrell counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Terrell swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Terrell takes one to the chin there.
Forrest cracks Terrell with a right hand to the side of the head.

Terrell takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Terrell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Forrest misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Terrell counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
