Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Don Asakura (ranked 4642 p4p, 24960 weight class) and Aiden Pearce (ranked 225 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Aiden Pearce was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Don Asakura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aiden Pearce! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Asakura bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Asakura moves into the clinch. A right handed body shot lands from Pearce.
Asakura lands a body punch. Pearce misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Asakura.
Asakura lands a shoulder strike. Asakura lands a good knee to the midsection. Pearce won't want to take too many of those. A quick uppercut on the inside from Asakura. Pearce is trying to break the clinch but Asakura is controlling him. Asakura controlling the action here for a moment.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pearce tries for a takedown but Asakura manages to get underhooks.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Asakura tries to keep at a distance but Pearce has taken the fight into the clinch.

Asakura doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Asakura manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
