Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yannick Sakala (ranked 415 p4p, 766 weight class) and Jimbo Gregor (ranked 53 p4p, 103 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sakala might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pole Pole. On his way into the cage it seems that Yannick Sakala has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Yannick Sakala seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yannick Sakala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jimbo Gregor!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Sakala.
Gregor throws a lazy uppercut
and Sakala counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sakala takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Gregor needs to keep his hands up - Sakala had a free shot at his head there.
Sakala throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sakala plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Sakala drops Gregor with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gregor looks back up at him and smiles so Sakala waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Gregor is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sakala closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Gregor! Sakala dives in looking to finish! Gregor is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yannick Sakala!
Yannick Sakala got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
