Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kazuharu Nakata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devin Olbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazuharu Nakata!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Devin Olbo!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Olbo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Olbo throws a punch but it's blocked by Nakata.
Olbo has had enough of the clinch but Nakata keeps him there for the moment.
Olbo wants to break free but Nakata has control.
Olbo tries to stall but Nakata uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Nakata prevents the takedown attempt.
Olbo is trying to break free.
Olbo wants to stall.

Nakata successfully pulls guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nakata is on top in guard.
Nakata works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Nakata is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Olbo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nakata.

Nakata escapes and gets back to his feet.
Nakata misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nakata shoots in but Olbo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nakata will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kazuharu Nakata. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Olbo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nakata manages to get to full guard.

Nakata had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Olbo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nakata Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Olbo's back instead.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Olbo won't enjoy being in this position. Nakata looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Olbo is tapping - it's over boys! Nakata picks up the submission victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kazuharu Nakata!
