These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lonnie Bryan!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie takes the fight into the clinch.
Gracie is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bryan to keep the fight standing.
Gracie tries to pull guard but Bryan holds him up against the cage and eventually Gracie drops back down to his feet.
Bryan tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Gracie tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bryan just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rafael Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bryan breaks from the clinch.
Bryan closes the distance and clinches.
Bryan pulls guard.
Gracie stands and throws Bryan's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Bryan is trying to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bryan manages to get back to half guard.
Gracie is trying to control. Bryan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Bryan flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Bryan is doing well to control the position and prevent Gracie from advancing to side control.
Bryan is looking to escape.
Gracie blocks the strikes from Bryan.
Bryan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bryan wants to improve his position but Gracie is controlling well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bryan manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
We've been hearing good reports from Gracie's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Gracie drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Gracie as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Bryan screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Gracie! Nice submission victory there!
