PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Old Grappling (ranked 1910 p4p, 1985 weight class) and Johel Yomero (ranked 221 p4p, 227 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Grappling might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to After Dark - Old Grappling. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johel Yomero!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grappling swinging wildly here.

Yomero is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Grappling defends it well.

It looks like Old Grappling has been cut.

Yomero shoots in and bounces Grappling off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Yomero looks up at the clock and then as Grappling takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Yomero smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Johel Yomero comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Yomero winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Johel Yomero decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Old Grappling was interviewed post fight and said 'I didn't expect this result! Congratulations to my opponent. I will train and come back stronger!'.
