Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Louie Lopez (ranked 1165 p4p, 749 weight class) and Majid Rahim (ranked 86 p4p, 20 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Louie Lopez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Majid Rahim!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez darts in and clinches Rahim up against the cage.
Rahim throws a punch but it's blocked by Lopez.
Rahim throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Rahim tries to pull guard but Lopez forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Rahim keeping moving, preventing Lopez from controlling successfully.
We've been hearing good reports from Lopez's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Rahim working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lopez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lopez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rahim is in all sorts of trouble here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lopez can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rahim is looking to escape.

Lopez lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Lopez lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That has opened up Majid Rahim's cut even more.
Rahim is working to get back to half guard.
Lopez fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Majid Rahim's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Majid Rahim's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Louie Lopez!
