The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Pancake throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fontaine's waist but Fontaine gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pancake off to one side.
Pancake moves in looking to clinch but Fontaine pushes him off.
Pancake shoots in for a double leg but Fontaine sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
And Fontaine tries to counter it with a takedown but Pancake pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Pancake tries to hold on but Fontaine pushes him away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fontaine takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
It looks like Fontaine might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Pancake is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Pancake might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fontaine has his arm under Pancake's chin here. Game over son! Fontaine squeezes tightly and Pancake is forced to tap out!
