The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Loco fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Loco doesn't succeed with the takedown and Strdoza counters by clinching up. Strdoza manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Loco drops back, looking for a kneebar! Strdoza wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Loco, who protects the arm well. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here.
