Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Smith (ranked 2751 p4p, 24397 weight class) and Hotsi Log (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Smith might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Heave Away- The Fables. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dylan Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hotsi Log!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith fails with a takedown attempt.
Smith closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Log quickly recovers to half guard.
Log is trying to stand up here but Smith is controlling him well.

Log tries to kick Smith off but Smith keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Log is looking to escape.
Log told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Smith looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Log with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith drops an elbow to the side of Log's head.

Log is rocked!
Smith lands a big elbow - Log is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Smith!

After winning the bout, Dylan Smith thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
