Junior scores with a takedown into Turmarrov's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Junior is pushing down on Turmarrov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Turmarrov is fighting to maintain full guard but Junior has managed to sneak the leg through.
Turmarrov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Junior pulls his head out easily.
Turmarrov looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Junior moves into full mount! Turmarrov won't be happy about that!
Turmarrov is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turmarrov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Junior. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Junior working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Turmarrov turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Junior off and cradles Turmarrov's limp body as Junior celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Hermio Junior!
