Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jugabu Batdorani (ranked 25125 p4p, 22747 weight class) and Mariusz Pudzianowski (ranked 564 p4p, 574 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzianowski with the inside leg kick.
Pudzianowski dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Batdorani. That did some damage!
Pudzianowski slaps away a takedown attempt from Batdorani, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Batdorani darts in looking for a takedown but Pudzianowski gets double underhooks and turns Batdorani into the cage.
Batdorani jumps guard but Pudzianowski stands there with Batdorani around his waist. Batdorani gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jugabu Batdorani. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pudzianowski has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Pudzianowski motions for Batdorani to come forward. Pudzianowski throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Some bone on bone action there as Batdorani checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Batdorani feints and as Pudzianowski raises his hands in defense, Batdorani changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Pudzianowski wants to stand and escape but Batdorani is having none of it.

Batdorani drops back looking for a leg! Pudzianowski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pudzianowski manages to kick Batdorani off! Batdorani jumps back into Pudzianowski's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Batdorani is standing up over Pudzianowski. Pudzianowski looks to escape but Batdorani dives into side control.

Pudzianowski is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pudzianowski is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Batdorani couldn't care less - he's delighted!
