The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That's time! Welch's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Joe gets caught napping as Welch dives in and scores a takedown. Joe manages to retain guard.

Joe manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Welch manages to get himself to full guard.

Welch is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Joe is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Welch has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Joe is looking to defend but Welch has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Joe! Welch pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Joe taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Baron Welch!
