Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Turner Crocop (ranked 1695 p4p, 1654 weight class) and Dimon Boets (ranked 49 p4p, 45 weight class). Crocop comes to the cage accompanied by Cro Cop. Turner Crocop has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boets pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Boets's coach down at St Petersburg MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Boets's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Crocop fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boets manages to avoid it.
Crocop definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Boets takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Boets ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Crocop moves away.

Dimon Boets seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crocop is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boets.

A nice side step and Boets releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Crocop throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Boets swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Crocop was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crocop ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Boets connects with a good right hand that stumbles Crocop. Crocop circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

and Crocop counters with a huge head kick that drops Boets! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
