Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Greg Connor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Robbie McBobbie!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBobbie scores with a jab to the jaw.
Connor misses with an uppercut. McBobbie saw that one coming.
McBobbie looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

McBobbie fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Connor to the ground. McBobbie is now in Connor's guard.
McBobbie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
McBobbie working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
McBobbie won't allow Connor to get back to his feet.
McBobbie is looking to work some ground and pound but Connor has wrist control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McBobbie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Connor.
Connor connects with a leg kick.
McBobbie has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
McBobbie slips a straight right by Connor.
McBobbie appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
McBobbie lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Connor at a distance.
Connor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A looping hook to the body misses from Connor. McBobbie does a little dance to reset his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Connor loads up on a big right hand but McBobbie slips the punch.
Connor throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Greg Connor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Connor throws a front kick aimed at McBobbie's knee but McBobbie avoids it well.
Connor jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Connor walks into a straight right hand from McBobbie.
Connor goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
McBobbie scores with a crisp jab that stopped Connor in his tracks.
McBobbie shoots in looking for a takedown but Connor manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McBobbie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Connor scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
McBobbie thows a left - swing and a miss!
McBobbie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Connor throws out the jab.
McBobbie now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Connor fails with an attempt to clinch.
Greg Connor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Connor lands with a good body shot.
Connor throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Connor misses with a wild body shot.
It seemed like McBobbie was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Connor misses with a jab, cross combination.
Connor pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Connor connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
McBobbie pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

It looked like Connor was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from McBobbie.
McBobbie's corner calls for a 1-2. McBobbie obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Connor turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McBobbie looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Connor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from McBobbie.

Connor throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McBobbie.
Greg Connor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbie McBobbie.
McBobbie swings for the body but Connor moves out of range.
It looked like Connor wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
McBobbie fails with a takedown attempt.
Connor throws a shot to the body.
Connor lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Connor's jab looks to have found its range, popping McBobbie under the eye.
Connor throws a body punch but McBobbie moves out of range.

McBobbie looks winded!
Connor doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
McBobbie tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Connor blocks a body shot from McBobbie.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Connor paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A big left from Connor misses.
Connor scores with a nice right hand.

McBobbie is rocked!
Connor throws a pinpoint strike between McBobbie's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends McBobbie crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Connor scores a great knockout victory!
