With a record of 17 - 11 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Benson Beckley!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Savage fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Savage misses with a short punch on the inside.
Beckley lands a good knee to the midsection. Savage won't want to take too many of those.
Beckley has Savage pressed against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Savage.
Beckley manages to pull guard.
Beckley had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Savage defends it easily.
Beckley has his foot on Savage's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Savage works his way back into a safe position though.
