PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ram Muteshanco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muteshanco comes into the arena with Hells Bells blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ram Muteshanco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muteshanco changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Connor tries to avoid it but Muteshanco manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Connor to the ground. Connor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Muteshanco wants to control from the top but Connor keeps moving.
Connor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Connor parries the strikes from Muteshanco easily there. Muteshanco is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Connor to escape.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Muteshanco closes the distance and clinches up with Connor, looking for a takedown. Muteshanco pushes Connor against the cage but Connor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Muteshanco feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Muteshanco, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
