Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between San Cristobal Fuente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, San Cristobal Fuente!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kimbo Slice!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuente throws a body kick that misses.
A nice combination there by Fuente.
Slice slips a jab and a cross from Fuente.

Fuente looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Fuente is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Fuente is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Slice can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fuente is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Slice is just riding it out for now. Fuente eventually gives up the hold.

Slice is defending against the submission attempts here by Fuente.

Slice looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Fuente is trying to work for a kimura but Slice is defending well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Fuente content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fuente lands a nice short elbow.
Fuente thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Slice's head.
Fuente prevents Slice from improving his position.

Fuente slips a nice elbow through Slice's hands, connecting with Slice's forehead.

Slice looking for submissions off his back.

Fuente is looking for a kimura but Slice is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fuente to get the leverage.

Slice is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Fuente pulls his head out easily.
Fuente works his foot free and advances to mount.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Fuente breaks from Slice's wrist control and lands an elbow.
A nice elbow there by Fuente.
Fuente can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Slice is looking to escape.
Slice is trying to escape the mount.
Fuente sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

San Cristobal Fuente dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Fuente cracks Slice with a right hand to the side of the head.

and Fuente decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Slice's guard.
Slice can't keep his opponent in guard - Fuente advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Fuente is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Fuente wants to pass the guard but Slice is defending well.

Slice looking for submissions off his back.
Fuente has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Fuente can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Slice is looking to escape.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Fuente lands a big shot there that rocks Slice but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Slice has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
You can see the frustration on Slice's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Slice prevents Fuente from getting a body triangle.
Fuente throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fuente keeps control of the position as Slice tries to break free.

Fuente looking for the choke from the back.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fuente tightening his grip on Slice, looking for the choke.
Slice tries to escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Slice is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Slice defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Fuente's arms.
Fuente controlling well, preventing Slice from escaping the position.
Fuente trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

San Cristobal Fuente dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Slice shoots and misses
and Fuente counters with a one-two to the body.
Slice has his takedown stuffed
enabling Fuente to counter with a crisp jab.
Fuente lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slice circles away quickly and effectively.

San Cristobal Fuente has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kimbo Slice.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jab, jab by Fuente - just one landing.
Slice takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Fuente cracks Slice with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Fuente closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Nice strikes from Fuente there.

Slice looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Slice looking for submissions off his back.
Fuente works his way into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fuente wants to control but Slice is keeping him busy.
Slice is looking for a sweep.
Fuente advances to full mount.

Fuente is going olschool here, as he tries to force Slice to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Slice shrugs it off.
Slice keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Slice really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fuente. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fuente raining down shots from the mount!
Fuente wants to control the pace but Slice is squirming around nicely.

Fuente goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Slice is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Fuente wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Slice is now in half guard.

Slice is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fuente doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Slice.

Fuente looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight!
San Cristobal Fuente showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Fuente has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
