Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Isiah Monroe (ranked 2466 p4p, 2160 weight class) and Tommaso Montanti (ranked 339 p4p, 306 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Isiah Monroe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tommaso Montanti!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montanti connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Monroe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Montanti paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Montanti throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Monroe shoots in for a takedown but Montanti shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Isiah Monroe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Montanti stuns Monroe with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

It seemed like Montanti was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
