Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sagat Petchyindee (ranked 1247 p4p, 2207 weight class) and Phil Qwerty (ranked 186 p4p, 308 weight class). Petchyindee comes to the cage accompanied by Wai khru ram muay. Phil Qwerty will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sagat Petchyindee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phil Qwerty!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Petchyindee slams his shin into Qwerty's torso.
Qwerty stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Petchyindee.
Qwerty bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Petchyindee's head backwards.
Qwerty connects with a right hand. Petchyindee shakes it off.
A punch lands to the side of Petchyindee 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Qwerty moves out of range as Petchyindee throws a body kick.
Petchyindee has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Qwerty.
Qwerty lands a jab.
Both fighters circling a little - Petchyindee finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
A swing and a miss from Qwerty.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Petchyindee on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Petchyindee throws a leg kick which misses Qwerty's front leg but catches the back leg as Qwerty tries to avoid it.
Qwerty takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Petchyindee takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Some bone on bone action there as Petchyindee checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
As Qwerty tries to get set, Petchyindee tries to push him back and clinch up but Qwerty manages to avoid the attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The crowd cheers as Qwerty lands an impressive looking overhand right. Petchyindee doesn't seem phased though.
Qwerty ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Petchyindee moves away.
Petchyindee is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Qwerty.
Qwerty has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Qwerty keeps the fight on the outside.
Petchyindee slips under a jab from Qwerty.
Petchyindee seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Petchyindee misses with a body kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Qwerty! But no joy.
Qwerty throws a looping overhand right but Petchyindee ducks down to avoid it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Petchyindee.
Qwerty connects with a looping right hand.
A lazy left from Qwerty finds it's target.
Petchyindee throws the kick towards the body but Qwerty avoids it.
Qwerty misses the jab.
Qwerty throws a hook to the side of Petchyindee's head but Petchyindee sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Petchyindee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Petchyindee looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Petchyindee rushes Qwerty and presses him up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Petchyindee creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Qwerty's defenses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Petchyindee misses with an elbow over the top.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Qwerty pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Qwerty uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Petchyindee has time to react.
The fighters circle momentarily. Qwerty darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Petchyindee slips a jab and a cross from Qwerty.
Petchyindee tries to counter by clinching up but Qwerty breaks away and moves out of range.
Qwerty scores with a shot to the body.
Petchyindee tries to clinch up but Qwerty circles away and keeps his distance.
Petchyindee rushes Qwerty and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Nice elbow from Petchyindee.
It looks like Phil Qwerty has been cut.
Qwerty's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Qwerty lands with a right hand.
Qwerty sizes up Petchyindee with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Qwerty throws a right and a left that Petchyindee avoids nicely.
Qwerty takes a head kick and keeps coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Petchyindee drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Petchyindee on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Petchyindee walks into a straight right hand from Qwerty.
Petchyindee lands with a kick to the ribs.
Qwerty stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Petchyindee is rocked!
Petchyindee doesn't manage to clinch there - Qwerty circles away.
Qwerty looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Oh Petchyindee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Qwerty fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Petchyindee to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Petchyindee looks to clinch but Qwerty throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Petchyindee taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Phil Qwerty!
A relieved looking Phil Qwerty thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Sagat Petchyindee was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll come back stronger!'.
