PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Duboulay (ranked 812 p4p, 920 weight class) and Dragon Kingdad (ranked 89 p4p, 104 weight class). Duboulay kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is World On Fire. Vincent Duboulay could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dragon Kingdad's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingdad swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Duboulay.

Duboulay appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Kingdad darts in and clinches Duboulay up against the cage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kingdad throws a body shot but no joy.
Duboulay avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kingdad misses with a wild body shot.

and Duboulay counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Kingdad!
Duboulay tries to get to his feet but Kingdad is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Duboulay in his guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kingdad holds on and takes a little breather.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vincent Duboulay will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vincent Duboulay.
I think Duboulay has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
