The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Dahan avoids the head kick by Smith.
Dahan ducks under a wild hook from Smith.
Smith throws an overhand right that lands on Dahan's shoulder, as Dahan tries to avoid the shot.

and Dahan counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Smith wants to stand up but Dahan is controlling him.
Dahan distracts Smith with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Smith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dahan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Smith's head.

Smith is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dahan is controlling him.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Dahan working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Smith really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Dahan is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Smith is trying to escape and Dahan transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Smith is forced to tap! Nice work there by Dahan! Very nice indeed!
