Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barry Parrish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Devon Black!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Black scores with a jab. Parrish acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Parrish uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Black.
Parrish gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Parrish wants to control but Black passes easily into half guard.
Parrish trying to hold on to Black's head to control him but Black postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parrish is trying to get back to full guard.
Black is pressing down on Parrish's thigh, looking to free his foot. Parrish is holding on for now.

The fighters are battling for position here. Parrish manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Parrish is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Black trying to control the position from guard on top but Parrish is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Parrish wants to reverse the position here. Black has hold of a leg though and he's dropped back looking for a kneebar! The fighters roll across the mat but Parrish is forced to tap! Parrish looks devastated but at least his leg points in the right direction.

Barry Parrish was interviewed post fight and said 'No worries, I just wanted to see what showed up in my TOTT!'.
