Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Serta Mierta (ranked 24616 p4p, 4004 weight class) and Raiju Trovao (ranked 423 p4p, 318 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mierta is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Trovao has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mierta is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Trovao.
You can see the frustration on Trovao's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
