Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Reyes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bentley Rocha!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ricky Reyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Rocha. No joy for Reyes on that attempt.
Rocha tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reyes was well out of range. Poor timing from Rocha.
A decent looking cross lands there for Reyes.
Rocha shoots and misses

Rocha is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Reyes defends well.
Rocha pulls Reyes in close to his closed guard and prevents Reyes from doing any damage or advancing position.

Rocha shoots in for a takedown but Reyes shows good takedown defense.

Reyes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rocha tries to avoid it but Reyes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rocha to the ground. Rocha escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ricky Reyes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bentley Rocha.
Reyes scores with a hook to the body. Rocha takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Rocha darts in looking for a takedown but Reyes gets double underhooks and turns Rocha into the cage.
Reyes shoots in for a takedown but Rocha shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
