Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Everett (ranked 3840 p4p, 4011 weight class) and Amare Blevins (ranked 392 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ben Everett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Amare Blevins! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blevins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Everett paws at him with a jab and circles away. Everett changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Blevins looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Everett in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Blevins trying to control but Everett flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Blevins tries to roll but Everett sticks to his back.
Blevins tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Blevins keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Everett wants to control the pace but Blevins is squirming around nicely. Everett working the ground and pound effectively.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blevins is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Everett with good strikes from the mount here! Blevins is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Everett controlling from mount. Blevins really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Blevins wants to control but Everett is having none of it. Everett looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Everett wants to control the pace but Blevins is squirming around nicely. Everett controlling the pace for now. Blevins is looking to improve his position but Everett isn't that keen on the idea. Everett lands a big shot there that rocks Blevins but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Blevins is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blevins is bucking up trying to escape but Everett cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Blevins is in all sorts of trouble here.
Blevins tries to hold on but Everett pushes him away. Everett breaks from Blevins's wrist control and lands an elbow. Everett has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Blevins's face.
Blevins is squirming around, avoiding Everett's attempts to control the action. Blevins is looking to improve his position but Everett isn't that keen on the idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Everett is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Blevins can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Blevins wants to hold on but Everett pushes him away. Everett trying to control but he's not successful this time. Everett pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Blevins throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Everett dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Blevins fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Everett avoids it really well and circles away. Blevins tries to score a power double leg takedown but Everett sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Blevins somewhat. Everett manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Blevins on his heels. He'll look to pass Blevins's guard now, I'm sure. Blevins is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Everett dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Everett trying to control the position but Blevins is working away. Blevins is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Everett's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blevins wants to get back to his feet. Blevins wants to improve his position but Everett is controlling well.
Everett is looking to take a break and control but Blevins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Blevins controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Everett keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Blevins is looking for a sweep. Everett is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Everett trying to control from half guard but Blevins is working away. Everett is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Blevins can do to turn this around? Blevins avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Everett. Everett looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Blevins gets back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Everett trying to control but Blevins is working from the bottom. Everett scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Everett tries to stand but Blevins is controlling from the bottom. Blevins looking to hit a scissor sweep but Everett is one step ahead there.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Everett connects with a leg kick. Blevins shoots and misses and Everett connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ben Everett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amare Blevins.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Everett. Everett clinches. Everett pulls guard successfully.
Blevins stays in close to Everett's body and controls the position. Blevins wants to pass the guard but Everett is keeping the position. Everett wants to hit a sweep here but Blevins passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Everett there! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Blevins jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Everett manages to avoid the submission attempt. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Everett dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Everett shoots in and bounces Blevins off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Blevins wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Everett manages to pass to side control. Everett lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Everett controlling the pace. Blevins gets full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blevins wants to sweep here but Everett controlling him for the moment. Blevins is looking for a triangle but Everett pushes his legs off easily.
Blevins is trying to keep Everett in close.
Blevins looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Everett wants to get up but he can't break Blevins's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Everett not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Blevins can't keep his opponent in guard - Everett advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Everett looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Blevins is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blevins wants to control but Everett is keeping busy.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Blevins looks to clinch and Everett counters with a takedown into side control. Blevins bucks up and tries to throw Everett off but instead Everett has got his back! Blevins takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Everett tries to keep control of the position but Blevins is staying busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is taking a good look at Blevins as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Everett!
Everett tightening his grip on Blevins, looking for the choke. Blevins tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Everett looking to control but Blevins is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Amare Blevins has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Everett lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Ben Everett showed his dominance in that final round. Well Everett has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
