Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams misses with a body shot.
Adams uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hardy.
Hardy throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hardy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Adams.
Adams has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hardy's corner calls for a 1-2. Hardy obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Adams throws a low kick but Hardy moves out of range easily.
Adams fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Adams throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hardy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Adams swings for the body but Hardy moves out of range.
Hardy takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Adams tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hardy was well out of range. Poor timing from Adams.
Hardy looks to score with a jab to the body but Adams is just out of range.
Hardy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Adams walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Hardy closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and Hardy counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Hardy connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Hardy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Adams.
Adams looks to land a right hand but Hardy moved out of range.
Hardy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Adams swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hardy.
Adams misses with an uppercut. Hardy saw that one coming.
Adams misses with a straight right.
Hardy drops down looking for a counter takedown but Adams sprawls and moves away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Adams tried to score with a low kick but Hardy checks it.

Hardy looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Adams!

Hardy tries for a kimura but Adams is defending well.

Adams wants to get back to his feet.
Hardy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Adams keeps working.
Hardy tries to advance to mount but Adams denies him.
Hardy is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Adams will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Hardy creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Adams sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Hardy looks up at the clock and then as Adams takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hardy smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Hardy lands a decent elbow from side control.
Hardy sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Adams is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Hardy is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Adams has escaped the position, nice work there.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Hardy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hardy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Adams is not content to let Hardy control the position.
Adams is pushing Hardy's head away, looking to escape. Hardy manages to hold on to the position though.

Adams wants to get back to his feet but Hardy drags him back down.
Adams prevents Hardy from moving into mount.
Hardy is trying to ground and pound but Adams uses the momentary lack of control by Hardy to regain half guard.
Hardy landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

After the fight, Oliver Hardy was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
