Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mehdi Illir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Adrian Halvorsen!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Illir connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Illir fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Halvorsen avoids it really well and circles away.
Illir gets the takedown into side control.

Illir is trying to get an arm triangle but Halvorsen is defending well.
Illir is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Halvorsen has escaped the position, nice work there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Illir misses with the ground and pound.
Illir swings around for an armbar but Halvorsen sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Illir's guard.
Illir is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Halvorsen won't allow Illir to sweep him here.
Illir has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Halvorsen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Illir has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Halvorsen should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Illir has tightened it up now! Halvorsen should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
