Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Drago!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Victor Fries!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fries stalks Drago and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Drago's face. Drago staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Igor Drago has been cut.
Fries's coach down at 🤡Is It Avatary Enough?🤡 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fries's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Fries closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Fries pushes Drago back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Drago definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Drago misses with a punch on the inside.
Drago wants to break the clinch but can't.
Fries lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.
Fries lands a hook to the side of the head.
Drago breaks the clinch.
Drago throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Drago will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Drago ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fries moves away.
Nice body punch from Fries.
Igor Drago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fries jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fries drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Drago onto his butt! Drago pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.

and Fries counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Drago is rocked!
Drago throws a lazy uppercut
and Fries counters with a huge right that knocks Drago out cold! Fries is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
