Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gunnar Chavez!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryzgalov gets tackled into the cage by Chavez. Chavez maintains the clinch.
Bryzgalov looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Chavez has clasped his hands together around Bryzgalov's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Bryzgalov wants to control but Chavez postures up.
Chavez controls the position from side control.
Chavez has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Chavez gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Chavez lands with a light punch inside.
Chavez lands a nice uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Chavez creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Chavez digs a right hand into Bryzgalov's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Bryzgalov's gas tank.
Chavez throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Chavez pushes Bryzgalov back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Chavez scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Chavez lands a big uppercut and Bryzgalov is down! He's in big trouble - Chavez follows him to the mat!
Bryzgalov is rocked!
Chavez is taking a breather. Bryzgalov says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Oh Bryzgalov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chavez frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Let's hope that Chavez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Bryzgalov seems to have got his legs back now.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Chavez.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Chavez's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gunnar Chavez dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Chavez rushes Bryzgalov and presses him up against the cage.

Chavez throws a big uppercut that drops Bryzgalov! More strikes from Chavez and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Bryzgalov lies dazed against the cage as Chavez celebrates with his cornermen!
