Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Agbay Amiga (ranked 23225 p4p, 23493 weight class) and Helen Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Agbay Amiga has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 47 - 62 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Agbay Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 47 - 62 - 10, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion looks for a takedown but Amiga sprawls well. No luck with that takedown attempt from Amiga. Salvacion steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Amiga quickly recovers to half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Amiga wants to get back to full guard. Amiga is trying to maintain the position but Salvacion is very close to passing his half guard. Amiga makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Amiga. Salvacion controlling from the top position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Amiga utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Salvacion is fighting to break Amiga's control of his arms but Amiga is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Amiga changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Salvacion tries to avoid it but Amiga manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Salvacion to the ground. Salvacion escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Amiga closes the distance and clinches up with Salvacion, looking for a takedown. Amiga pushes Salvacion against the cage but Salvacion circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Agbay Amiga. That's going to take a lot out of him.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Salvacion as he avoids it easily. Nice sprawl there from Salvacion as Amiga shoots in. And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Amiga manages to step out the way in time.
Salvacion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Amiga's guard. Amiga looking to hit a scissor sweep but Salvacion is one step ahead there. Amiga trying to keep a closed guard but Salvacion is proving a slippery customer.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Amiga pulls Salvacion in close to prevent any damage. Salvacion is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga pulls Salvacion in to control the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Helen Salvacion dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Amiga defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Salvacion. A counter left hand to the body from Amiga misses its target. Horrible takedown attempt by Amiga or perhaps it was just good defense by Salvacion, which made it look bad. And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Amiga manages to step out the way in time. Amiga fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Salvacion steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Salvacion is fending him off so far but Amiga persists. Nope, Salvacion circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Agbay Amiga. That's going to take a lot out of him.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Amiga was well out of range. Poor timing from Salvacion. It appears Amiga was looking to counter with a kick there. Salvacion lands a nice looking kick to the body. Amiga takes a step back to recover.
Salvacion is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Amiga's half guard. Salvacion controlling the action here.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Amiga misses with some strikes from the bottom.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Amiga tries to get to full guard but Salvacion has control of the leg. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Amiga is looking to control Salvacion's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Amiga avoid being mounted?

Salvacion closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Amiga is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Amiga trying to control but Salvacion postures up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Helen Salvacion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Amiga throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Salvacion manages to pass to side control. Amiga tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Amiga is trying to improve his position. Amiga defending against the ground and pound. Salvacion is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Amiga sprawls well. Amiga wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Salvacion gets slowly back to his feet.

You can see the frustration on Amiga's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Agbay Amiga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! And that's the end of the fight! Helen Salvacion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Salvacion has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
