Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tapad Amiga (ranked 23518 p4p, 23371 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 76 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapad Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 54 - 59 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salvacion as he jumps to the side.
Salvacion throws a counter combo.
Salvacion shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Amiga is trying to defend but Salvacion finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Amiga is looking for a sweep. Salvacion is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Salvacion tries for a takedown but Amiga sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Salvacion manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Amiga on his heels. He'll look to pass Amiga's guard now, I'm sure.

Amiga shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Salvacion pinned against the cage. Salvacion gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Tapad Amiga will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Amiga has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Salvacion.
Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown. Amiga tries to sprawl out of it but Salvacion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Amiga manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Amiga quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
