Zeta Knox struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 267.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai misses with a wild body shot.

Chai clinches.
I was talking to Chai's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Chai scores with a shoulder strike.
Chai works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Chai blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Knox breaks from the clinch.

Chai drives through with a takedown into Knox's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Chai is trying to work for a kimura but Knox is defending well.

Chai takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chai seems to be looking for submissions.

Chai is working for a kimura but Knox is defending it quite comfortably.

Knox is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Chai is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Chai is keen to just control but Knox is a slippery customer.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Chai prevents Knox from improving his position.

Chai can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Knox is looking to escape.
Chai is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Knox is in real trouble.

Chai is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chai has the hooks in. Knox is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Knox is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Chai gets his way!
Knox looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Chai has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Chai working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Knox is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Chai has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Knox taps out!
