Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronnie Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Olsen!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olsen doesn't manage to clinch there - Coleman circles away.
Olsen scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like Ronnie Coleman has been cut.
Olsen misses with a wild body shot.

Coleman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Olsen is looking to control Coleman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Olsen avoid being mounted?
Coleman is trying to control. Olsen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Coleman is working for a submission of some sort.
Coleman is trying to control the action in half guard but Olsen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Still in half guard, Coleman seems content to control.
Coleman wants to pass the guard but Olsen is defending well.
Coleman controlling the action here.
Coleman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Coleman is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Coleman looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Coleman tries to pass the half guard into mount. Olsen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Olsen is looking to escape.

Coleman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Coleman wants to take a breather but Olsen is having none of it.
Coleman wants to pass to mount but Olsen is defending the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Olsen jabs at Coleman's body.
Coleman shoots for a double leg takedown but Olsen sprawls well. He's pushed Coleman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Coleman is breathing heavily.
Coleman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Coleman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Olsen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Coleman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Thomas Olsen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Olsen lands a right hook to the body.
Olsen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Coleman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Olsen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Olsen is looking to clinch.
Coleman gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Olsen listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Olsen throws a series of strikes that have Coleman backpedaling.
Olsen getting the better of the striking in that exchange.


Ronnie Coleman's cut is getting worse.
Olsen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Olsen moves in looking to clinch but Coleman pushes him off.
Olsen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Coleman momentarily.
Olsen lands a slapping body shot.
Coleman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Olsen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Olsen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Olsen changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Olsen clobbers Coleman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.


Ronnie Coleman's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Olsen drops Coleman with a beautiful combination! Coleman stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Olsen is looking for the KO!


Coleman is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ronnie Coleman's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Thomas Olsen!
